Getting to Austin, and getting around

By Austin Design Collective

The Austin Convention Center is about as central as a venue gets. It sits in downtown, a short walk from Rainey Street and the river, and a twenty-minute ride from the airport. That makes the logistics of attending refreshingly simple.

Where to stay

The downtown and Rainey Street blocks around the venue put you within walking distance of both the sessions and the after-hours. If you would rather be a little quieter, the South Congress area is a quick ride across the river and worth a wander on its own.

Whatever you book, you will not need a car. Rideshare, bike share, and your own two feet cover everything the conference touches.

Make a few days of it

If you can, come in a day early or stay a day late. The river trail, the food, and the design studios around town are part of why the conference is here. The venue page has the practical details; the rest is best discovered on foot.

Don’t miss it

Reading about it is one thing.

Three days, two stages, and the people building what comes next. Grab a pass before early bird closes.
